NORTH AMERICA FINTECH DEALS

  • Matera, instant payment, core banking and QR code payment provider, has secured a $100m investment from Warburg Pincus.

  • Billfold, a Point-of-Sale (POS) solution, has closed an undisclosed “seven-figure extension round” led by BambuVentures, Inertia Ventures.

  • Aven, a credit solutions start-up, achieves unicorn status with latest $142m Series D capital raise, led by Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst.

  • Allium, a blockchain data platform, has raised $16.5m in a Series A funding round led by Theory Ventures.

LATAM

  • Caliza, a cross-border settlement fintech, has raised $8.5m in a funding round led by San Francisco-based VC Initialized Capital.

  • BucksApp, a B2B fintech startup, has raised $1m in a pre-seed funding round led by iThink VC and BuenTrip Ventures.

  • OneCarNow, accessible subscription-based financing, has secured $86m in The Series A round led by Brazil’s Caravela Capital, Collide Capital and Great North Ventures.

EUROPE

  • Jeff App, a financial marketplace, has raised $2m in late-Seed financing round led by Presto Ventures.

  • Haruko, a digital asset platform, has secured $6m in Series A funding co-led by White Star Capital’s Digital Asset Fund and MMC Ventures.

  • Leya, AI legaltech startup raises $25m in a Series A round led by US VC Redpoint Ventures.

  • Wamo, a digital business account offering platform, has landed a “bridge to Series A round” of $5m led by Re-Pie Asset Management, Finberg and Logo Ventures.

  • Mifundo, an AI-driven cross-border finance platform, has bagged €2.5m in grant funding from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator program.

  • Grover, a platform for renting tech like phones, cameras, and laptops, raised €50m in bridge funding from Cool Japan Fund.

REST OF THE WORLD

  • Papaya, an omni-channel ordering and payments solution for hospitality sector, has secured an undisclosed investment fromBEENEXT and A2D Ventures.

  • Seeds Fincap, a non-banking financial company, has raised over $8.5m in a Series A round led by Lok Capital and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India).

  • Dopay, a digital payroll and payments platform, has secured a $13.5m Series A extension led by Argentem Creek Partners.

  • Auxilo Finserve, an Indian education-focused NBFC, has secured $33 million in a new funding round, with LeapFrog Investments.
